Hunters are heavily armored collectives of wormlike organisms united under a common consciousness. Always attacking in pairs, they wear nearly impenetrable armor from an unknown substance. Hunters fight with Assault Cannons integrated directly into their armor, and they carry an enormous and nearly-impervious metal shield made of an unknown alloy derived from the same component that forms Covenant star ship hulls. Hunters are feared for their incredible strength and speed.
Feared for their speed and incredible strength, these living tanks are deployed as shock troops to scatter opposing forces. McFarlane’s Hunter is in scale with our 5-inch Halo 3 figures, standing more than 8 inches tall with more than 28 moving parts.

the one you’ve been hunting for
This is one heck of a sculpt and paint job. And it’s a sturdy, heavy piece: easily holding an Elite or other enemy up for an action pose. There’s a great deal of articulation overall – including the “toes” and end of the fuel rod gun. Even the packaging is fairly handsome and display worthy.
A couple of smaller minuses – Although there’s a lot of articulation, it’s still at about the same level as the other figures in the series. My first impulse was to set it up in the “defensive crouch” position, but this just didn’t seem possible. And the (removable for a Scorpion-blasted look) back spikes were literally a pain to put in. Be careful.
These are extremely small setbacks with the overall quality in mind, though.
If you like Hunters, or simply want a kingpin piece to set off your collection, this figure is easily worth the few extra bucks. In perfect scale and on the money.
Hunter Deluxe
I was so happy to finally get my Hunter in the mail, as after the usual opening process, I discovered that his back spikes required self installation. After literally 10 minutes of attempting to get a single spike in his back, I decided to let it be. The joints are highly flexible, and you can make almost any pose with him as you would see within the Halo games.

I’m a big Halo fan and have been wanting a decent hunter figure since 2001 when Halo came out, and now 8 years later it is here, TRUST ME this figure is PERFECT, its:
